Graham Hancock is an out-of-the-box thinker.  His books and lectures have been so mind-opening for me.  Here is a Ted Talk that was banned due to what he said about society purposely dumbing down its citizens.  This is what I have also noticed everywhere I've been.  His book on this topic, "Supernatural" is fantastic.
